Sara Campbell, Registered Social Worker, Ontario

Sara Campbell

MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor

For more than a decade Sara has  had the privilege of supporting people through some of the most painful and meaningful chapters in their lives.  She is a Registered Social Worker in Ontario (RSW) and also licensed in the state of New York (LMSW).

Sara specializes in providing therapeutic care to people facing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship and family conflict, burnout, compassion fatigue and major life transitions.

She works with  individuals, couples, teens,  families and first responders and  aims to provide a welcoming space where clients can connect with their experience, explore their strengths and move towards meaningful change with clarity and confidence.

In her practice she utilizes a variety of evidence based therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, mindfulness  and Somatic therapy.  She  believes people heal when they feel welcomed, seen,  safe, understood and not alone in the process.

Before becoming a therapist Sara has  spent several years as an ordained pastor; work that profoundly shaped her ability to sit with and support  people in their most vulnerable moments.  This background strengthened her understanding of identity, grief and resilience and the many ways emotional wellness can intersect with identity and culture.

She also  has extensive experience working with clients across diverse identities, including the 2SLGBTQ+ community, refugees and individuals navigating the intersection of family, societal and cultural norms.

Creating an affirming, inclusive and welcoming space is central to her practice.

She has a particular passion helping those in caregiving and helping professions, such as healthcare workers, first responders, veterans, educators, therapists, and clergy; all those who give so much of themselves and often carry silent emotional burdens.

Sara is also a dedicated Clinical Supervisor who goes beyond supervision as a requirement, creating a thoughtful space for therapists to grow, strengthen their clinical skills, and deepen their abilities to provide effective, compassionate care.

Her goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner resilience, rebuild a sense of safety and self trust, and move forward with hope, confidence and renewed strength.
